He was named the #1 USDF Dressage Stallion of the Year 2007. Next, Rosenthal became a top producer of premium GOV (German Oldenburg Verband) foals and ranked top Hunter Breeding Stallion of the Year in 2016 and 2017 and 2018! He died suddenly in 2018 and was awarded Breeding Stallion of the year posthumously.
Such a beautiful being that needed to be remembered. His offspring are amazing and now there will only be a certain number to ever show after this sire. I began this design at Dressage at Devon, September 2018, and asked for votes as to whether the design was worthy of his name, and this series. There were over 75 immediate votes to proceed, place his name on the design, and multiple inquiries when the series would be available.
This Buckle first became available piece, along with a Medallion, and the remaining smaller versions of Rosenthal followed in 2020.
